- I have been married for 50 years to Suzanne. We have two children, a daughter Gayanne and son Dr. Timothy Leistner, a professor in Florida.
- We also have two grandchildren, Luke and Sara. Luke is a graduate of Ohio State University and Sara is a student at Owens Community College.
Susan
Hi, my name is Susan (Susie) and I have been working with Dr. Ted since 1987.
I began my dental career in September 1966 in Hillsdale, Michigan. I have been a receptionist, dental assistant and office manager. You could say I am a jack of all trades when it comes to the dental office. In my opinion, the most rewarding thing about working it the dental field is watching anxious patients, especially young children, become less stressed. This happens due to a very caring Dentist and a staff that is very attuned to the needs of our patients. When you call, and you should, tell them "SUSIE SENT YOU".
My husband, Dennis, and I have been married for over 40 years. I have 3 great children Nicole, Andrew & Nathan, whom I am very proud of. I also have 2 granddaughters, Megan & Maia, who are the apples of my eyes.
I love to read & swim. I am also a sucker for games on the computer.
Sarah
Hello, my name is Sarah. I have been a part of our Westgate Family Dental team since 2002.
I help assist Dr. Ted. My #1 focus is to help you in anyway I can to make your dental visit as pleasant as possible.
I live North of the border in Michigan. I enjoy being outdoors -- during the warm months, of course. I also love going to Nascar races, concerts and Detroit Tiger games.
I look forward to seeing everyone single one of you.

Hi, my name is Ann, and I am Dr. Ted's Receptionist and Financial Coordinator and Office Manager.
I am proud to be a part of this outstanding team. I am a 1979 graduate of Penta County Dental Assisting Program, and since then, have had 25 + years experience in many different aspects of dentistry. Our primary goal here at Westgate Family Dental is not only to provide exceptional dental care, but to keep our patient very relaxed and comfortable. Be sure to ask us about our "Total Comfort System".
My personal interests include walking, music, reading, gardening, and my Church. More than anything else, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my two sons and my beautiful grandchildren.. Life can't get much better than that!!

Hello, my name is Deanna. I graduated in 1998 from Lake High School and the Penta County Dental Assisting program.
I am a Certified Dental Assistant and have my Radiographic License. To stay certified, I sometimes have to travel out of State for continuing education.
I am currently going to Owens Community College for the EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assisting) program, which means I will be able to place definitive restorations (white & silver fillings). I enjoy what I do and want to expand my ability to help our patients.
In January 2002, I joined Dr. Ted's team. We moved into our brand new office on W. Central in July 2002.
I like to listen to country music, hang out with my friends, ride horses and walk my dog Goliath (who really walks me). I have been accused of being very kind and gentle. I am always friendly and smiling. You just might find yourself being pampered while you are here.
Danielle
Hi my name is Danielle. I was a student of Dr. Ted's and graduated from Owens Community College in 2008.
Not only an I a Registered Dental Hygienist, but I am also licensed to place fillings and administer local anesthetic.
I absolutely love working in the dental field. It is great to meet and develop relationships with our patients, especially with our family style practice.
I am an animal lover, (you might see pictures of my hairless cats floating around the office). I enjoy spending my free time reading, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
Jesslyn
Hi, my name is Jesslyn. I am a Dental Hygienist at Westgate Family Dental.
I am married with 2 very busy boys. If I am not attending one of my kids many sporting events, I enjoy reading, camping and relaxing with friends.
I started out in dentistry as a pediatric dental assistant in 1989. I attended Owens Community College and graduated from the dental hygiene program in 1994.
I have been with Dr. Ted's office since October 2008. I am very excited to be part of such a great team. I truly love what I do and look forward to providing you quality dental care.
